Our Learning Experiences
Learning Through Skilfully Planned Play

Onsite Woodland School
Our onsite woodland was introduced in 2020 and has proved a very popular area with the children. The children climb, make mud pies, make dens, explore nature and grow their own vegetables- which they then prepare and eat for snack!

Teacher Led
Our owner and our preschool lead are both Qualified Teachers with a specialism in Early Years. This expertise in teaching the youngest of children is passed on to other staff through training and planning.

Enriching Experiences
We ensure the breadth of children's experiences will prepare them for their lives. We feel it is important to stimulate learning through unique and memorable adventures.

Out and About
All of our children regularly are taken for exciting experiences outside of nursery. This included local walks and planned trips further afield. Our children get so much from these experiences with their teachers and friends!

Special Celebrations
We love to celebrate special times with our children and families. We invite our parents in to nursery for Mothers Day Cream Tea, Fathers Day Treats, Christmas Parties and much more. We aim to bring our families together bringing a sense of community to the setting.

Community
We love being part of the community and join in with our little village's events such as the Summer Fete Parade. We also love to invite special people in the community to visit us on events such as Our Open Gardens day.

Yoga and Mindfulness
Self-regulation and children's wellbeing is very important to us. Children are taught how to manage their emotions and take care of the wellbeing through experiences like yoga and breathing excersises.

Out and About
Special Visitors
We regularly have special visitors into the nursery including firefighters, police officers and our local farmer will often bring the tractor for our children to sit in. We also have little treats like ice cream vans and even Santa Claus!

Extra Curricular Experiences
We have two regular extra curricular activities at the setting, where specialist teachers come to the setting for fun and learning. Popcats is our fun music and movement session and Mini Dribblers football session led by coach Paul.
"The transitions between the groups is seamless due to the close knit team. I love the fact that children get the chance to mix with their older/younger friends for parts of the day"
